Daylight Saving Time and how it affects your health?

  Daylight Saving Time (DST) is a seasonal time change where clocks are adjusted forward by one hour in the spring and back by one hour in the fall. While the practice of DST has been around for more than a century, its impact on our health is still being studied. Here are some ways DST may affect your health: Sleep disruption : Changing the clocks can disrupt our body's natural sleep-wake cycle, also known as our circadian rhythm. Losing an hour of sleep in the spring can make it harder to fall asleep at night and may result in daytime sleepiness and fatigue. Increased risk of accidents : Studies have shown that there is an increase in traffic accidents and workplace injuries on the Monday following the switch to DST in the spring due to the disruption of sleep patterns.
